Fall Cross Country
A quality cross country program created by former collegiate runners and coaches that will introduce kids to the sport of cross country through games, skills, and competitions that focus on ethics, excellence, and enjoyment. (We emphasize the fun part of our program to get kids excited about running and movement!)
Velocity offers two fall programs:
- Elementary & Mountain Green Middle School (MGMS)
- Jr High Cross Country
Registration will open in July.
Ages
Elementary/MGMS: Ages 6-14
Born in the years 2011-2019
Jr High: Ages 12-15
Born in the years 2010-2013
When
Season begins with registration in July.
Elementary/MGMS: practices will start in September and run until mid-Oct.
Jr. High: practices will start the week of August 25 and run until end of Oct.
Where
Local parks and elementary/jr. high fields in Northern Utah.
Practices
Teams practice 2 times a week for 1 hour.
Jr. High programs may add one practice a week.
Meets
Elementary/MGMS: Three meets throughout the season, generally on Friday evenings.

Other Information
All registrations include a Velocity tech t-shirt in the team color.

Cost
Elementary/MGMS: The 5 week Fall Season is $100, which includes team t-shirt, two practices a week, and three meets.
Jr. High: The 10 week Fall Season is $175, which includes a team t-shirt, two practices a week, and five meets.
Scholarships are available to those in need. You must apply before registering to receive the scholarship

Each age group will run a different distance
2019: 1K
